The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the closure of schools and institutes and the readaptation of classes to the online format. And despite the efforts of education professionals and the speed with which schools have tried to adapt to this situation, the truth is that not all students can follow them in the same way. The most economically disadvantaged students suffer much more from the consequences of the so-called "education gap". The educational gap is the difference that exists between the education received by those young people with fewer resources and with complicated family situations, and those who come from more stable and wealthier environments. That's why governments are working to get students back into the classroom as soon as possible. Some European countries have already started school de-escalation. Germany, Denmark, Belgium or France have already begun to take security measures so that their students can return to classes.
